Mário Fontemanha is the new President of INOVAGAIA

INOVAGAIA has just elected its new governing bodies, appointing Mário Fontemanha as President of the Board of Directors. This succession marks a strengthening of the institution’s strategy for the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Vila Nova de Gaia.

Mário Fontemanha, widely recognised for his career in public administration and leading national institutions, is the face of this new chapter. A senior partner at the law firm WLB-World Lawyer Bureau, the new President’s curriculum includes roles at the Assembly of the Republic and as a City Councillor at the Municipality of Gaia, bringing extensive experience in the legal and financial sectors.

Under his leadership, INOVAGAIA aims to enhance its role as a reference incubator, focusing on attracting investment and supporting technology-based projects. This strategy is built on a collaborative governance model that brings together academic expertise and business agility
