How to Make Your Project More Sustainable

Last Wednesday, INOVAGAIA hosted the workshop “How to Make Your Project More Sustainable” which brought together around 20 entrepreneurs and professionals interested in integrating sustainable practices into their projects.

The session highlighted sustainability as a genuine business opportunity, with the potential to drive innovation, attract investors, and build long-term resilience. With a practical and strategic approach, the workshop explored several dimensions for making projects more sustainable:

Identifying Key Impact Areas

Participants were encouraged to focus on key areas such as supply chain, product design, and customer engagement — identifying where they can create a positive impact.

Using Sustainability Frameworks

Tools such as the Sustainable Business Model Canvas, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria, and the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) were introduced to help structure more effective strategies.

Measuring and Communicating

The importance of tracking sustainability metrics was widely discussed, with recommendations to report progress and share impact stories transparently — reinforcing trust among clients and investors.

Start Small, Think Big

The workshop emphasized that small actions aligned with business objectives can be the starting point for meaningful long-term change.

The event stood out for its interactivity and participant enthusiasm, with attendees leaving inspired to apply the insights gained to their own projects. As its final workshop of 2024, INOVAGAIA reaffirms its commitment to promoting practices that contribute to a more sustainable future.
